Penny is a young black & white Springer Spaniel Border Collie cross, otherwise referred to as a Sprollie! I met with Penny and her guardian Elaine in March 2014. Penny came to live with Elaine and her family as a puppy. Elaine took her to the Vet as she noticed that Penny sometimes became short of breath and overbreathed especially while playing. The Vet diagnosed a significant heart murmur but didn’t recommend any treatment.
I assessed Penny in her home, we covered areas such as health condition, veterinary interventions, diet and nutrition, exercise regime and home environment. Elaine explained that Penny was fed a diet mainly of dry dog food with some fish and chicken. She exercises outdoors a couple of times per day and generally has the run of the house.
I offered some suggestions to improve her diet and supplied some recipes for good heart health and general wellbeing. I suggested continuing with current exercise regime but also providing frequent opportunities for rest.
Following the assessment, Penny and Elaine then took part in a healing. Penny settled down quickly and relaxed during the healing. Afterwards she was full of energy and started playing with Elaine’s daughter. Penny also received a further distant healing.
I met up with Penny and Elaine again recently when we all went out for a walk. Penny was looking great with big bright eyes, a glossy coat and boundless energy!
Penny continues to keep well and plays a big part in Elaine’s family.
